Bekannt sind wir uns schon 30 Jahre und starteten 2003 die erste Fahrt nach Colombres (http://www.mcpiston.com) nach Asturien im Picos de Europa Gebiet im Nordwesten Spaniens mit Gänsegeiern, Wölfen und Bären, Lachse in den kristallklaren Flüssen der Kalkschluchten, bäuerlich, gastfreundlich und die Heimat eines Käses der in der ganzen Welt bekannt ist für seine Würze der „Queso Cabrales“ und inzwischen kann ich ihn genießen, doch der erste Biß in ein Baguettebrötchen mit der Spezialität in Arenas raubte mir fast die Funktion meiner Zunge.
Emotional und körperlich fast immer im hohen Drehzahlbereich genießt sie auch das Essen (ist auch ein Muß) und ist trotz ständiger Nahrungszunahme ein Leichtgewicht. Leider wird in diesen Tagen ihr letztes Motorrad, eine Moto Guzzi Nevada 750, auf Kleinanzeigen und mobile.de angeboten.
Reisen ins Piemont oder nach Ligurien mit Zelt und Espressomaschine und einspurig unterwegs wäre schön gewesen, aber es soll nicht sein. Sie hat inzwischen die Verantwortung einer Oma bei zwei Töchtern und drei Enkeln und unsere Leidenschaft ist ungelogen auch gefährlich, das war und ist uns auch immer bewußt.
Selten so eine schöne, intelligente und mit Herzenswärme ausgestattete Frau in meinem Leben getroffen und dabei kompliziert unkompliziert einfach problemlos unterwegs.

Bis auf eine Tour ins Vinschgau nach Glurns zu einem Treffen mit Neo-Faschisten, das sich aber erst im Laufe der Nacht durch die Musikauswahl entpuppt hat, waren wir aber nie zusammen unterwegs. Unser Zweiradmechanikermeister und begnadeter Schrauber „Minke“ fand immer eine Lösung für ein technisches Problem, doch das Besondere war der Treff abends nach Feierabend mit Freunden und guten Bekannten in seiner idyllischen Werkstatt. Auf die Lagertreppe setzen, ein Öttinger aus dem Kühlschrank finden und zuhören, war für mich oft die Rettung des Tages nach 8-10 Stunden im offenen Ladenlokal des Motorradzubehörspezialisten in Europa und mehr Idioten als Kugeln im Lauf, wie das Clint Eastwood beschreiben würde.
